Lost arrow spire direct. first big wall - warm up ar an epic ?

Tikriausiai abu.

Planavom pralipti šį maršrutą per 4-ias dienas, aš tikėjausi, kad gal per 3 pavyks, bet lietus, sniegas ir ilgas priėjimas nukėlė i 5-kias dienas.

Pirmą dieną prieidinėjom iki 4-ių popiet ir tada šiaip ne taip pasiekėm pirmą lentynėlę - 2:30 ryto... kitą dieną pradėjom lipti, pralipom ir užtraukėm pirmą virvę ir prasidėjo audra - nusileidom atgal.. trečią dieną pasiekėm antrą lentynėlę, kuri buvo jau mažą ir visai baisoka. ketvirtą dieną varėm greitai, bet vidurdienį staigiai atšalo ir pradėjo snigti. Galvojau reikės nakvoti tokioj skylėj uoloj, kur pusė užpakalio telpa... buvau išsigandęs. Bet pravarėm dar vieną virvę ir ten jau galėjom pusę palatkės pastatyt. Kojas reikėjo laikyti surietus arba nukarusias..

Penkta diena - viskas kaip iš pypkės - viršunė ir apie tuzinas diulferių, tik vilkt žemyn šmutkes buvo sunkoka tai pavargom.

Dabar porą dienų ilsimės ir tada i El Cap'ą lipsim. Tikriausiai Salathe wall, bet jei gautume portaledge'ą, liptume Zodiac'ą.

I think both.

We've planned to climb this route in 4 days. I even believed that we are able to climb it in 3 days, but rain, snow and long distance to the route made it last 5.

We reached the wall at 4 pm and at 2.30 am we were on the first ledge... what a night! Then, we started climbing the following day and storm began after the first rope so we had to come back. On the third day we reached second ledge. On the fourth day we tried to be really quick but at midday it started snowing. I was frightened that we might need to sleep in a hole in the wall where sitting is quite a big problem but we managed to climb one more pitch where we were able to put up a half of our tent.

On the fifth day the weather was perfect and the summit was finally reached. All the equipment was really hard to carry, so we were exhausted.

Now, a few days of relaxation and El Cap is coming! We think that we will choose the Salathe wall, but if we get a portaledge, we will climb Zodiac.
